Surgical repair of pulmonary arterial sling associated with tetralogy of Fallot

Summary

Successful surgical repair of pulmonary artery sling and tetralogy of Fallot was achieved in two patients. One required extensive left pulmonary artery reconstruction, while the other had a single-stage repair.

Background:

Pulmonary artery sling is a rare congenital anomaly.
Tetralogy of Fallot is a complex congenital heart defect.

To describe the surgical management of patients with concomitant pulmonary artery sling and tetralogy of Fallot.
