A novel bifunctional separator using cobalt-aluminum-layered double hydroxide quantum dots and nitrogen-doped graphene effectively suppresses lithium polysulfide shuttling and enhances lithium-sulfur battery performance. This advancement offers a promising solution for high-capacity energy storage.
